Supply of water from Rawal Dam to be restored

Islamabad: According to a recent news report, the concerned authorities have restored the water supply from the Rawal Dam after an agreement was reached between the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Punjab government. As per the agreement, Rawal Park will also be reopened for the public.

According to the details revealed, the water supply to Islamabad has been restored after the CDA cleared funds worth PKR 32 million that it owed to the Small Dams Organization Punjab. The supply of water from the Rawal Dam is expected to be restored later this week.

Rawal Park will likewise be opened to the general public and boating facilities and adventures will be reinitiated. Also, the Islamabad Police has been told to make game plans to give security at the recreation center.
