Lahore: According to a recent news report, the Government of Punjab has announced a decision to introduce a mobile application for the registration of tenants in the province.

Consistent with the already going practice which was, the concerned landlord or tenant are required to go to the nearest police station for the registration process. The provincial executive intends to abolish this process.
This new mobile application will allow users to register both domestic workers and tenants through simple and easy steps.

According to the Punjab Police, the app contains the data of as much as 1.5 million proclaimed offenders. It will dispatch SMS alerts to the authorities concerned in case it detects any new entrant associated with criminal activities.
Moreover, the app will allow the police to monitor the activities of domestic workers who frequently change their jobs.
