Multan: According to a recent news report, The Punjab Cabinet held its 41st meeting in Lahore on Monday with the Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in the Chair, in which it accorded approval to build a 200-bed Mother and Child Hospital at Old Grain Market Site in Multan.

It was also decided in the Meeting to pay the special allowance to the doctors of the Department of Population Welfare.
In a statement, Usman Buzdar said that not they will provide free health insurance to the entire population of Punjab by the end of 2021 rather they are also building 12 new hospitals in the Public Sector to ensure the availability of best health facilities to the people. It’s worth noting that a 1,000-bed Nishtar Hospital II in Multan is already under construction.

The Punjab Cabinet additionally affirmed the one-scale advancement of 11,000 low-scale government workers. Moreover, the Cabinet likewise chose to frame a Committee on the regularization of Katchi Abadis (ghettos) in Punjab.
