Lahore: According to a recent news report published on the 27th of January, the Punjab cabinet has provided its approval for the establishment of a new development authority in Lahore in an offer to develop divisional neighbourhoods and promote business activities at Walton Airport and surrounding localities.

According to details revealed, the ‘Lahore Central Business District (CBD) Development Authority’ in Lahore will facilitate investors on a priority basis. This information was given by Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Sardar Usman Buzdar during meetings with various officials, who briefed them regarding the development projects currently underway and investment opportunities they present in the province.

While addressing a delegation, the CM stated the government is taking revolutionary steps to promote investment in the province and that Punjab is developing as a ‘haven’ for investors. He repeated that the investors are being provided with different facilities under one roof and the construction sector has been given several incentives.
