Karachi: According to a recent news report, President Dr. Arif Alvi has announced that Pakistan would adopt a responsible strategy on the blue economy for sustainable use of ocean resources as it is transforming into a geo-economic hub.

He stated addressed this during the inaugural session of 9th International Maritime Conference here on Saturday. The conference, titled “Development of Blue Economy under a secure and sustainable environment”, is aimed at analysing various facets of the ocean economy and achieving common goals of maritime prosperity and security in the region.

The president said Pakistan’s change into a geo-monetary centre would improve occupations while saving the wellbeing of the sea biological system.
