Lahore: According to recent reports, on Tuesday the 19th of January, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) stated that Pakistan had jumped 31 positions, from 142 to 111, on the Trading Across Border Index; adding that the improvement has seen in the ranking reflected the government’s efforts to improve ease of doing business in the country.

The sudden change in Trading Across Border Index has helped the country to improve its position on the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business 2020 rankings. The country soared from 136th to the 108th spot; enjoying the distinction of being reported among the top 10 countries that did the most to improve the ease of doing business during the said year.
