Mansehra: According to a recent report, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has provided its approval for the establishment of an industrial economic zone in the city of Mansehra. This will help in promoting small and medium enterprises in the district of Mansehra.

In the details revealed, Small Industries and Economic Zones Deputy Director Zulfiqar Sahibzada expressed his views on the matter during a visit to Badra, Lalobandi and Sheikhabad areas. The visit was intended at identifying the sites for setting up the proposed economic zone. The Mansehra District general secretary Taimur Saleem Swati was also present on the occasion.
Deputy Director Zulfiqar Sahibzada stated that the provincial government was making efforts to promote industrial activity and create employment opportunities for the local population.

Last year, the provincial executive had informed the establishment of the Rashakai Special Economic Zone Development and Operation Company (RSEZDOC). The company would develop, market, manage and operate the Rashakai Special Economic Zone.
