NAYA PAKISTAN HOUSING SCHEME all set to began in February in Lodhran, Chishtian & Renala Khurd in Punjab District
PTI has started the fulfillment of its promise of introducing revolutionary housing project of Naya Pakistan Housing scheme in order to provide affordable homes for residents of Pakistan.
Naya Pakistan Housing Program was said to be build in 21 cities across Pakistan in the areas including Faisalabad, Gilgit, Islamabad, Quetta, Muzzaffarabad, Swat, Sukkur, Bahawalpur, Dera Ghazi Khan, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Kasur, Lahore, Layyah, Multan, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Sialkot, Vehari, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir. Unfortunately due to abundance of applications it became difficult for the government to to start the construction in all the cities at once . Hence it is decided upon that the government will began Naya Pakistan Housing program in 3 districts of Punjab and in time it will be expanded to other cities.
The construction work is set to be started in February in Lodhran, Chishtian and Renala Khurd respectively.
Payment Plan Announced by the Government:
The government has proposed fixed the prices of housing units under the project stated below:
|3 Marla||16.5 to 17.5 Lac|
|5 Marla||21 to 23 Lac|
Application Process :
Registration Forms for Lodhran, Chishtian and Renala Khurd Naya Housing project are available from Bank of Punjab. The registration forms are given out free of cost.
Payment for the Submission of Registration Form:
Application Processing Fee = Rs. 250/-
Token Money = Rs. 10,000/- (will be refunded to unsuccessful applicants within 15 days of balloting)
Payment to be Paid by Successful Applicants:
Down Payment = Rs. 20,000/- (to be paid by the successful candidate within 20 days of balloting)
Plus the installments at will be announced after balloting.
Late date of Submission:
The last date to apply for Affordable Homes in Lodhran, Chishtian and Renala Khurd is 25 February 2019.
Naya Housing project is a good initiative taken by the current government of Pakistan to uplift the economic growth in the country and to provide housing solutions on 15% to 20% lower than the current market price. The government is also providing long term loans to enhance the conditions of people to afford homes and apartments every year.
However the housing scheme sounds very promising and appealing on the paper but the question that arises is that if the government will be able to execute the project and make good on its promise? We can only speculate at this given moment, I guess only time will tell.
