Jirga agrees to resolve Teri temple issue cordially

Kohat: According to a recent news report reconciliatory jirga headed by an adviser to the chief minister on information technology, MPA Ziaullah Bangash, agreed on Thursday to take along all stakeholders to resolve the issue of Teri temple peacefully.

Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has tasked the advisor with friendly support to solve the temple crisis. The jirga was attended by the Commissioner, Kohat District, Syed Abdul Jabbar Shah, DIG Tayyab Hafeez Cheema, Karak MPAs, Fakhre Azam and Mian Nisar Gul, notaries and religious figures.

By bringing all the residents into faith, they promised to settle the matter amicably so that such cases of vandalism never occurred again. Mr. Bangash said that the next sitting of the Jirga will take place on the site of the Teri temple.
