Islamabad: According to a recent news report, the government has decided to include the private sector in the country’s hospitality industry, the Tourism Hotel Managers Association of Turkey (TUROYD) seeks an opportunity to invest in Pakistan’s tourism sector.

According to officials, a TUROYD delegation headed by President Ali Can Aksu visited the BOI Office to explore investment opportunities and provide specialized services/expertise pertaining to Pakistan’s tourism and hospitality industry.
TUROYD is an organization of hotels and tour operators dedicated to the activation and advancement of civil society programs in the tourism sector, as well as the assistance of individuals and organizations involved in the industry. Currently, the organization provides tailored assistance to 71 countries around the world.
Both countries should cooperate to establish specialized institutes that provide training for the hospitality and service industries, according to Bokhari. “The Pakistan government is looking to foster family-oriented tourism in light of our religious and cultural traditions, and Turkey will help us accomplish this aim effectively.”

Meanwhile, the secretary of the BOI told the delegation that they would receive all necessary assistance in realizing their investment plans in Pakistan. “The BOI, as the government’s apex body for investment promotion and facilitation, acts as a one-stop-shop for international investors,” he said.
