Illegitimately built houses, boundary walls demolished in Lakki Marwat

Lakki Marwat: According to a piece of recent news, the district administration has demolished several buildings during an anti-encroachment operation in the remote Sulemankhel area.

Under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner Umer Bin Riaz, a team comprising employees of revenue and communication departments and tehsil municipal administration razed more than three dozen houses and boundary walls with the help of machinery.

The provincial government has approved a blacktop road for the rural locality and the anti-encroachment operation will help to implement the project without any hindrance. The assistant commissioner also inspected construction work on the road project and directed the officials concerned to ensure effective monitoring of the project.

He said that the administration would ensure transparent utilization of funds meant for construction of roads. Mr. Umer said that the occupation of state land both in urban and rural areas would not be tolerated.
