Bahawalnagar: According to a recent news report, on Wednesday, a total of 38 people were arrested, including 23 college students, for allegedly vandalising a bus in Adda Chubyana and torturing the driver who stopped them from harassing female students.

23 college students, including Haq Nawaz Pathan, Mukhtar Pathan, Ismail, Ijaz, Umar, Azeem, Ahmed, Taimoor, and 15 unidentified persons, assaulted and destroyed the bus, tortured the driver, and threatened him with dire consequences, according to a first information report lodged by Ghumandpur police on the complaint of driver Ijaz Ahmed Wattoo.
According to the FIR, the bus driver stopped them from bullying the children.
