Islamabad: According to a recent news report, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has installed permanent pickets at Margalla Hills, Saidpur, Shah Allah Ditta Village, Chontra, and Bari Imam in a bid to protect these sites from encroachers.
Furthermore, more than ten teams have been created to fight encroachment and unauthorised development on state lands. On a daily basis, these teams will send updates to CDA’s administration. CDA will take enforcement action against encroachments and unlawful construction, as well as seize construction materials, depending on these findings.
In a related development, CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed has demanded that construction on the stalled Ladies Club project at G-10 Markaz, which will provide people with appropriate health and leisure facilities, be resumed.
According to news, the structure of the Ladies Club at G-10 is 100% complete, with a covered area of 97,000 square feet.
