Islamabad: According to a recent news report, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) has instructed the Capital Development Authority (CDA) to address the petition seeking the ban on the drive-in cinema located within F-9 Park.

The IHC Chief Justice Athar Minallah announced the decision on the application looking for termination of all open-air cinemas in Islamabad. He further directed CDA Chairman Aamir Ali Ahmed to issue a written order on the matter.

The candidate, through his insight, Yasir Chaudhry, kept up that drive-in cinema attractions were a wellspring of diversion just for vehicle owners also adding that the Supreme Court (SC) had prevented business movement in recreational areas. He further expressed that these films increased environmental pollution.
