Islamabad: According to a recent news source, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a press release that stated in the acquirement of the government’s ease-of-doing-business initiatives, the public agency is now available at 1BILL that’s powered by 1Link. The initiative was introduced on Tuesday the 12th of January.
1Bill is an integrated concept of payment that helps customers to pay all their bills including utility bills, credit card bills. Government bills and fee vouchers with a single interface.
1BILL will help and facilitate the residents of Islamabad to deposit all sorts of charges including water charges, property tax, and others to the CDA through the services of mobile and online banking.
For the payment of the tax deposit, the citizens of Islamabad will be able to use the 1220001 prefixes which are followed by the CDA property tax consumer tax number. Additionally, for water and allied charges, customers can use the prefix 122002 with the consumer number under the 1BILL payment preference.
Amer Ali Ahmed who is the chairman of CDA has disclosed that this initiative of 1BILL will help to reduce human interaction and promote contactless billing. He also stated that this is one of the many large-scale projects started by the CDA.
