Lahore: According to a recent news report, the police have been able to retrieve 32 Kanals of state land from the alleged land grabbers in an operation in Township. The operation was conducted on the directions of Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ghulam Mahmood Dogar.

A police team, led by Saddar Division SP operation Hafeezur Rehman Bugti, carried out the activity in the Industrial Area, Township and got 32 Kanals state land worth billions vacated. The land grabbers had established gypsy cottages, temporary establishments, and encroachments on the state land for a long period.

In another activity, police recovered three Kanals and 10 Marla state land at Shano Baba Chowk close to the University of Lahore. Police additionally recovered 20 feet of the street nearby the college from the land grabbers during the activity.
Mr Dogar said an uncommon Anti-Qabza Mafia Cell had been set up and anybody could move toward it or register a protest on helpline 1242.
