Faisalabad: According to a news reported on January 12th, the Departmental Development Sub-committee (DDSC) of Punjab has approved 13 new major Water and Sewerage Agency (WASA) projects that are worth Rs.3.5 billion. All these schemes fall under the Chief Minister’s Punjab package for Faisalabad.
Whilst speaking to the media on the subject, Mr. Jabbar Answer who is the Managing Director of WASA thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, the local provincial and national assembly members, and various other local and provincial departments involved in the approval and execution of these projects.
The Managing Director also stated this it is his full determination to complete these projects as soon as deemed possible. He further stated that WASA is determined to provide the best sewerage and water-related services in the city of Faisalabad and hope that the finishing of these 13 major projects will uplift the quality of WASA’s services in the city.
